What we achieved together in 2025

1,588 Health Screenings

Your donations make lifesaving care possible for individuals who otherwise wouldn’t be able to afford essential health screenings. These screenings range from basic glucose and blood pressure checks to more advanced services like mammograms and colonoscopies. This year, your generosity funded 119 mammograms, with 5 showing abnormal results—and we are grateful that none required biopsies. You also helped provide health screenings and physicals for 1,202 adults and 386 youth, totaling $53,316 in support.

33 Nurses graduated with BSN Degree

The Greg Wood Legacy Fund continues to make a powerful impact on our workforce pipeline, helping us grow our own talent for the future. Thanks to your generosity, 33 nurses graduated this December, earning their RN to BSN degrees and strengthening the care we provide across our communities. When Greg retired, donors helped seed this fund with $150,000, and your continued support has allowed it to flourish. Recruiting for rural hospitals is challenging, but your commitment ensures that we can develop, educate, and retain exceptional caregivers right here at home.

A Record 503 Employees in Tartan Club

The Tartan Club is our annual Employee Giving Campaign, where Scotland Health Care Employees give through payroll deduction year round. This year, a record 503 employees contributed, raising $153,666. These funds strengthen our Foundation Grants Program and support our CAPE Fund, which provided more than $34,000 in assistance to employees facing major medical emergencies, house fires, and family losses.

$200,000 for Community Health

Your generosity helped make a remarkable impact this year by providing $200,000 in support of our Community Health Workers and Community Paramedic Program—teams that meet patients exactly where they are. These programs deliver personalized care at home or wherever it’s needed most, breaking down barriers like lack of transportation and helping patients access essential services. We heard countless stories of lives changed and even saved because of the trust built through these relationships—from a new mom whose dangerously high blood pressure was caught in time, to individuals who now have access to healthy food, stable housing, and ongoing support. Your generosity makes this life changing work possible.
