Amaryia Carmichael
Amaryia Carmichael is the recipient of the 2026 Scotland Memorial Foundation Allied Health/Nursing Scholarship. She plans to attend the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where she will major in Pre‑Nursing and continue her path toward a career in healthcare.
Amaryia is an outstanding student who has successfully balanced a rigorous academic schedule, including college-level coursework, while maintaining a high GPA. Her dedication to excellence has earned her numerous recognitions, including A Honor Roll, Student of the Month, and membership in the National Honor Society.
Beyond academics, Amaryia is deeply involved in school and community activities. She serves as a member of the Beta Club, secretary of the Bike Club, photographer and editor for the Yearbook Club, and is active on the Usher Board of her church. Demonstrating strong leadership, she is also the Founder and President of Search Seniors, an organization reflecting her initiative and commitment to serving others.
Amaryia’s work ethic and drive truly set her apart. As she shares, “I experiment with new things, strive every day to be a better person, and do my absolute best.”
With her passion for learning, leadership, and service, Amaryia embodies the spirit of this scholarship and represents a promising future in healthcare.
